Early Days
In 1956, The Hong Kong Baptist Convention founded Baptist College as a private, post-secondary institution.
Decade of Change
In 1966, Hong Kong Baptist College’s campus on Waterloo Road was completed. The College entered into a phase of rapid development.
University Status Granted
Hong Kong Baptist College was officially renamed Hong Kong Baptist University on 25 November, 1994.
