In celebration of its 60th anniversary, HKBU invited 10 alumni and faculty members of the Academy of Film of the School of Communication to produce a total of 10 short films, ranging from six to 10 minutes with different styles. The short films cover a wide array of subject matter, including campus life, social issues, as well as reflections on love, pursuit of ideals, studying and life in the city.
A number of alumni and students who appeared in front of and behind the scenes applied what they learnt from HKBU into the film production and creation, and students of the Department of Music also took part in the composition of the film scores. HKBU believes that the mix of people in the production team can inspire greater creativity and cultivate a heritage of passing on experiences and knowledge.
